Happy June!
I am
officially a graduate of Miami-Dade College and I am proud to say that I made
it halfway through! I reached my goal of maintaining dean’s list academic
standing throughout both years, tuition is still being fully paid for and God
continues to bless me. The best part is being a first-generation student, my family
motivates me so much and they make my journey all the more worthwhile. I say it
all the time college truly highlights your potential and If you work hard and
seek out opportunities you can experience such a rewarding college career. The
people I’ve met, the hands I’ve shaken, tears I’ve shed, and the hustle I had
all mounted to something and I'm just getting started... Seeing all the other graduates from university walk
across their stage only makes me more excited. I truly am thankful for everyone
who roots for me, See you in 2!! 😉
PSA Incase you need to hear this from someone: IT IS NEVER TOO LATE!
Hold yourself accountable and keep your goals in front of
you… I believe in you.

Hola!
Been a bit MIA on here per usual... Hear me out though!
I've decided that I really want to focus on making my platforms more on the personal side. I realized I struggle so much with consistency because I'm only trying to keep up & cater to these topics (ex. fashion , beauty, advice etc.) like other blogs do and I end up going blank! I'm going to try hardest to post on here every once in a while and gradually make it a natural habit..
I have so much crap I need to focus on and conquer for myself.. and between time, stress, and overwhelming procrastination I have a lot of work to do. I always want better for myself so I'm pushing through on this challenge & trusting the process.
Praying for endurance, strength, and prosperity all in all.
By God's willing,
Genuine Jenn

2017 was a year full of growth! I traveled more than usual, I accomplished a bunch of goals, I laughed, I cried, I learned so much about myself, and I enjoyed every bit of it!
I don't know what 2018 has in store for me but I'm hoping and praying for the best. For some reason I walked into 2018 with high spirits and plan to keep up with this positive energy. I have a couple of goals planned for this year but instead of a physical vision board I have a digital one - Pinterest Style ☺
Here are some sample pictures &

I recently went on a mini shopping spree and decided to visit the LUSH cosmetics store. I had heard from my mother about how good the store products were, and a couple of co workers told me the same thing. I've been struggling for quite a while with skincare and I spoke with their associates for some recommendations. I picked Up these two products and I'll be doing a challenge to see weather they work for me or not.

BEFORE: October 1st 2017
As the end of the
year slowly approaches I like to encourage a little self evaluation. Since my
birthday passed this July I realized how fast time is moving and I thought
about my goals for 2017. It was passed half of the year and half of my goals
weren't even completed. I lost a lot of motivation and I knew I had to redeem
myself quickly. If you're finding yourself in the same slump that I was in and need a little help with motivation, here's 3 short tips that helped me get back on the ball.
1. Evaluate: Figure out when the
focus went left. A lot of times we're caught up in what's going on around us
and we lose focus on our goals & forget about the end zone. Sometimes it just takes for you to take a step back and get a bigger picture of what's working and what's not. 2. Refocus: After you've determined where, when and what went left, shift right. Set goals
that are actually attainable. There's a saying, if you have a set amount of time dedicated to any learning endeavor you are much better off spending that time a little bit every day then you are in one botched process. Instead of just having goals for the entire year
I had to set weekly goals that helps me get closer to that ONE goal. Figure out whatever works best for you. 3. Hold yourself accountable: One of my favorite
quotes is "You are your biggest obstacle". Its never too late to redeem yourself if there is an opportunity for growth and/or success. Make a way and stick to it!
